Secondary Backing Systems & Their Applications for Hospitality
Action-Bac is a synthetic polypropylene fabric that, by applying latex,
is laminated to tufted carpet's primary backing during the finishing process
to provide a stable secondary backing. It is hospitality's standard for secondary
backings for stretch-in installations over separate pad/cushion for "rooms" carpeting.
The combination of carpet and separate cushion is best suited to rooms carpeting
because these areas must have maximum comfort underfoot.

Maintenance & Cleaning
Guide ![]()
Templeton recommends an upright heavy duty commercial vacuum with a "Beat
and Sweep" beater bar. The Pile Height Level Setting, the amount of
suction, the beater bar and the vacuum bag should be checked periodically
to insure that the vacuum is performing properly.
Installation Instructions
for Graphic Carpet
On
all graphic items, it is extremely fundamental to know that the pattern
is actually tufted into the carpet, not printed on. Because of this
tufted-in characteristic, the pattern and the rows must line up. You must
cut the center row of the a diamond pattern and follow that row.
