Templeton's carpets featured in this website have been designed primarily for Hospitality applications. We manufacture our products for performance by tufting dense constructions utilizing state of the art equipment and by using superior durable yarns. Most of our products are tufted from our 1/10 gauge broadloom tufting machines using continuous filament solution dyed nylon yarns and are finished with ActionBac secondary backing.More »
Secondary Backing Systems & Their Applications for Hospitality
Action-Bac is a synthetic polypropylene fabric that, by applying latex, is laminated to tufted carpet's primary backing during the finishing process to provide a stable secondary backing. It is hospitality's standard for secondary backings for stretch-in installations over separate pad/cushion for "rooms" carpeting. The combination of carpet and separate cushion is best suited to rooms carpeting because these areas must have maximum comfort underfoot.More »
