Carpet Constructions
Cut Pile Graphics - Construction is 1/10 gauge and Cut pile designates that tufts have a smooth cut tip finish. Patterns are created by computer controlled tufting technology that shifts the positions of the needles containing particular colors of yarns.
PCU (Precision Cut/Uncut) Graphics - Construction is 1/8 gauge and is similar to the cut pile but the carpet now has added pattern texture created by a combination of cut yarns and loop yarn tufts. This tufting process provides a varied texture versus the smooth tip finish.
Enhanced Loop Graphics - Construction is 1/10 gauge from computer directed machines and is tufted as 100% loop tufts. Enhanced means that there are different loop pile heights programmed for placement that creates the textured graphic pattern. Some patterns have significantly more texture than others. (Note that some patterns are then tip-sheared at the finishing oven).
MLCL (Multi Level Cut & Loop) - Overall construction is 1/10 gauge. Greater pattern versatility is achieved by programming multi level cut patterns and textured loop patterns to be tufted simultaneously for a combination that provides a unique three dimensional look.
Corridor Carpets - 1/10 gauge constructions, these graphic products are tufted for density and of a heavy weight to provide durability in high traffic areas. We can manufacture all of our products with attached borders and are unique with our registered Trademark of the Seamless Corridor Program.
CYP Graphics - "Computer Yarn Placement" constructions are our
most prestigious. The extremely large scale pattern capability of this unique
technology can be duplicated conventionally only by "printing" wet
dye patterns onto white carpet. Instead, our CYP technology creates beautiful
patterns (flowers, geometrics, creatures, etc.) by tufting solution dyed
nylons yarns directly and permanently into the carpet.
